For creatives from around the world, Milan Design Week is the ultimate design event and experience, where international designers showcase their groundbreaking innovations.
For SieMatic we developed concept, name, and invitation for the event, together with a luxuriously oversized brochure that provides interesting insights into the hidden treasures of the German luxury kitchen brand.
Milan, Italy, has a rich architectural history – a tapestry woven from various styles and influences. The original Roman grid for example, known as the “centuriation” system, significantly influenced Milan’s foundational layout.
This Roman influence was subsequently overlaid by Renaissance developments. Renaissance architects were fascinated by mathematical principles, such as the golden ratio, which can still be seen in the proportions and layouts of buildings from that period.
For us, those grid systems became the foundations of our design.
Communication of the event included an HTML-newsletter, save the date and RSVP-emails, as well as a section on the SieMatic website with the brochure contents adapted to online reading.
For this project, we made extensive use of AI software to generate moods and inspiration. Once happy with a particular scene, we started building the architecture in 3D, together with the correct furniture and materials.
